My latest collection of Brunei Darussalam Fridge Magnet bought from the souvenir shop downtown. Thanks to my friend Aziana who gave me Korea FMs as a gift. With these 3 Brunei FMs and the 2 Korea FMs, my collection is now growing to 285 pcs.

I have the latest Brunei Darussalam Fridge Magnets to add up my collection. Bought these FMs at the Brunei International Airport souvenir shop while I was about to board the plane bound to KL.

With these four FMs, my total FM collection is now 262 pieces.

My latest collection are actually bookmarks :)

Made from wood, sculptured possibly using Computer as the details are very fine.
I put a small piece of magnetic sheet at the back and walaaa.. they are trassformed into Fridge Magnets.

Brunei, Malaysia & Miscellaneous

Like Sabah and Sarawak, in Brunei we do have the great Raffelsia flower too. Below is a Brunei Fridge Magnet of the Raffelsia, the world's largest flower. I bought this FM sometimes ago at a souvenir shop.

The following Fridge Magnets are from Malaysia, featuring the different ethnics in Sarawak, Malaysia. The one below shows the people of Bidayuh. I bought these FMs from the Sarawak Souvenir shop at the Miri International Airport and also from the Miri Shopping Mall. One of the FM was an exchange FM with a fellow Forumer, Sorceress followed by the Orang Ulu (remote people)

the FM below shows also another ethnic group of people the Nyonya of Penang, Malaysia.
next below is the FM showing a man making the famous Malaysian kite "Wau". These kites are famous in Kelantan and Terengganu, Malaysia.
I bought the Cameron Highland, Pahang, Malaysia FM below when I was on holiday to Cameron Highland last year.
the Malacca, Malaysia FM below shows the typical slipper worn by the Nyonyas in Malacca. This FM was given to me as a gift from a fellow CARI forumer, feathers when she was on holiday to Malaysia also last year.

The rest of the FMs below I categorise under Miscellaneous.
I bought the FM below from a souvenir shop in Brunei. It is very interesting as it shows the famous Egyptian Pharoah. A fellow CARI forumer gave me the FM below of a cute girl
the FM below was bought at a souvenir shop in Gadong area last year. It shows the dolphin, beach and other sea creatures.

Brunei, Oman and Malaysia

Below are fridge magnets from Brunei Darussalam. These three FMs are of typical food and drink available in Brunei. I bought all the three FMs from a local souvenir shop at Gadong Mall.

Satay FM. Satay is a popular dish, slices of chicken/beef in sticks dipped in peanut sauce.

Teh Tarik FM (milk tea in cup/glass pulled to came up with a bubbly milk tea drink). A very popular drink especially for breakfast and High tea.

Roti Prata FM. Roti Prata is a popular dish at Indian Resturants.

The next Fridge Magnet is the latest I received as a souvenir from my colleague, cyah. She bought it while on holiday in Oman last december 2008.

Cambodia, Brunei & Philippines

Happy New Year 2009 everyone!

I have some Fridge magnets from Cambodia, Brunei Darussalam and also the Philippines. I will start with the ones from Cambodia.

This one below is from Cambodia. These are gifts from my best friend, Ade when she was in Cambodia for a holiday.

Next below are the FMs from Brunei Darussalam. Mostly I bought myself from shops around Brunei. The one below showed the Royal Regalia building located right athe heart of Bandar Seri begawan, Brunei's capital. It is one of Brunei's tourist attraction.

The FM below is an interesting one. It is of a Green Turtle which is one of Brunei's endangered species.

I bought this FM showing the famous buildings at the Capital i.e. Yayasan HSB, the SOAS mosque, Jame 'Asr mosque, Royal Regalia and the water village water taxi.
the next FM is showing the famous "Venice of the East" Brunei's famous tourist attraction - the Kampong Air (the world's largest water village on stilts).

I got this FMs from the Philippines as a gift from a pinoy colleague who was coming back from home.

the FM below shows a typical Philippine's musician. Bought this FM when I was in Manila in 2007 for the ASCOPE games.
